If you own a blog or a website, you may have heard about ChemiCloud, Hostinger, and Siteground very often.
Choosing a hosting for your new blog or website can be often very confusing, a website’s speed and performance mainly depends on its hosting.
So, in this article I’ll do a detailed comparison on ChemiCloud vs Hostinger vs SiteGround.
ChemiCloud is a Managed Web Hosting provider founded in 2016. Despite being a new Hosting company ChemiCloud has earned a reputation of being one of the best Hosting solutions for small Blogs to large Enterprises.
All ChemiCloud Hosting plans come with Unlimited Bandwidth, Free lifetime Domain, Free SSL, and Free website Migration support.
Some additional features include Turbo Cache for fast loading speeds, Free Malware removal tool, and One Click Backups.
ChemiCloud Offers 3 types of Hosting Services:

Internet Security is the most debated topic of 2021. With rising number of internet threats, botnets, and DDoS attacks, website security has become a major concern among site owners.
An unsecure hosting can not only compromise your website’s sensitive details (login credentials) but can also lead to unauthorized transactions, steal card details on eCommerce based websites.
To stay on the safe side, you should choose a hosting that can take care of all these things for you.
ChemiCloud Security Overview
ChemiCloud has many advanced features to protect your website from attackers. With its cutting edge technology like PHP 8, Advanced Firewall, Account Isolation, and 2FA – you can be assured that your website is in safe hands.
ChemiCloud also offers DDoS protection, Spam Filtering, and 24/7 proactive monitoring to detect and neutralize any threats before it affects your website.
In addition to all these features, you also get easy Backup and Restore functionality to restore your site if you accidentally deleted something.
Hostinger Security Overview
Hostinger is quite old hosting provider, it follows all the necessary security practices to keep your website safe.
Hostinger’s security includes Firewall, Active Monitoring, PHP hardening, etc.
It also offers weekly backups to keep your data safe in case of accidental data loss. You can easily restore your website from a backup or take help of a Hostinger support agent.
If you sign up for their business plan, you’ll also get access to their CDN which further blocks malicious traffic and reduces spam. However, you can always use Cloudflare as a workaround if you’re using their basic hosting plan.
SiteGround Security Overview
SiteGround doesn’t have its own servers, instead it uses Google Cloud servers to host your websites.
It means that if you choose SiteGround, your website will be hosted on Google Cloud and you’ll get Google level security by default.
Now I really don’t need to explain how secure GCloud is, it’s self explanatory.
So, if you are choosing SiteGround as your hosting provider, then one thing you can be rest assured about is Security. Your website and data will be stored safely on GCloud with 24/7 monitoring and business level hardening.
In addition to this SiteGround also offers some basic security features like 2FA to keep your account safe even if your password is compromised, custom WAF and SG Site Scanner tool to scan and delete malware.
Website’s speed is one of the major SEO ranking factors according to Google.
If you don’t want your website’s SERP rankings to drop, you should choose a Web Hosting that offers fast loading speeds and maximum uptime.
ChemiCloud Speed Overview
Chemicloud is very promising in terms of website speed and uptime. It offers fast SSD storage, LightSpeed web servers.
It uses AMD EPYC processors in its backend which are considered highly superior in terms of benchmark and response time. These are the same processors that are being used by Cloud Giants like Linode and Digital Ocean.
If you choose ChemiCloud’s Turbo plan, you’ll also get access to Turbo Cache to improve website’s loading speed even more.
ChemiCloud also has more server locations than Hostinger and SiteGround, you can easily choose a server that’s closest to your location – to serve your website fastly.
Hostinger Speed Overview
Just like ChemiCloud, Hostinger also offers SSD storage, Litespeed web servers, and high uptime.
If you choose Hostinger’s Business plan, you’ll also get their CDN which improves your website’s loading time, and caches your website data on multiple server locations around the globe for faster delivery.
But in my test ChemiCloud performed slightly better than Hostinger in terms of website speed and response time, which is understandable considering the price difference between Hostinger and ChemiCloud.
Hostinger’s base plan is much cheaper ($1.39/mo) as compared to ChemiCloud’s ($3.95/mo).
Overall, if your website is new and doesn’t have lot of visitors then Hostinger should be fine for you.
When your website grows, then you can easily upgrade to Hostinger’s Premium/VPS plan which includes high resources and faster speeds, or you can switch to a different host entirely.
SiteGround Speed Overview
As I’ve explained above, SiteGround uses Google Cloud to host all its websites, so speed should not be an issue.
If you choose SiteGround as your hosting provider, then you’ll enjoy Google Cloud’s excellent server reliability, speed, and highest uptime.
In addition to this, SiteGround also allows you to configure Cloudflare CDN right within its dashboard – to save you from a lot of DNS importing trouble.
If you’re using WordPress to create your website then you’ll also receive SG Optimizer plugin, this plugin automatically optimizes your images, compress your website’s HTML & CSS source code, and offers browser level caching to make your website even more faster and lightweight.
When buying hosting, you should choose the server location which is closest to your visitor’s location.
The farther a server is, the more delay it will take to reach your visitor’s device, so choosing a server that’s closest to the location where most of your visitors are from can be a huge impact on your website’s loading and response time.
If your website visitors are international (from different countries), then you can choose any Server Location you want.
Below is the list of Server locations for Hostinger, ChemiCloud, and SiteGround. You can check which hosting has server locations closest to your targeted visitors.
Hostinger Server Locations
Hostinger has data centers in 7 different countries:
- United Kingdom
- United States
ChemiCloud Server Locations
ChemiCloud has data centers in 11 different regions:
- Dallas, USA
- San Francisco, USA
- New York, USA
- Sydney, Australia
- Mumbai, India
- Toronto, Canada
- Tokyo, Japan
- London, UK
- Frankfurt, Germany
- Bucharest, Romania
Siteground Server Locations:
In terms of data centers, Siteground does lag behind a little bit. It only offers data centers in 6 countries.
- Council Bluffs, IOWA (USA)
- London, UK
- Eemshaven, Netherlands
- Frankfurt, Germany
- Sydney, Australia
However, this shouldn’t be considered as a downside, because you can use Cloudflare CDN as a workaround to distribute your website to different Cloudflare data centers around the globe.
If you’re new to hosting and web development, then identifying and fixing server issues can be a huge pain in the a$$, that’s where Technical Support comes into play.
You should choose a hosting that offers fast and reliable support to fix your website issues.
ChemiCloud offers support through Live Chat, Email, Phone, and Support Ticket. Their response time is usually very quick.
They also offer support through various Social Media platforms like Twitter, Reddit, etc.
Hostinger ‘s Support
Hostinger provides support through Live chat, Support Ticket, and Twitter, but they don’t have any phone support.
Hostinger’s Response time can be a bit high sometimes because they have a very large customer base.
However, they try their best to resolve every support query as soon as possible, but sometimes you have to wait a bit longer.
The one thing SiteGround is famous for is its unbeatable support. When I was using their services, I never got disappointed by their support team, their support staff is really professional and informative.
They offer support through Live chat, Phone, and Support Ticket. Their response time is usually very quick.
ChemiCloud’s shared web hosting plan ranges from $3.9 to $10.9.
Each Shared hosting plan comes with different features and limits. The Basic plan allows you to host 1 website with 15GB SSD, Unlimited Bandwidth, Free lifetime domain, and Free SSL.
The Pro and Turbo plans allow you to host Unlimited websites with more SSD storage and Faster speeds.
ChemiCloud also has Cloud Hosting plans for larger websites with higher traffic.
If your website/blog is new you won’t need Cloud hosting, a Shared hosting plan will be fine for you.
Hostinger’s shared hosting plan starts from $1.39/mo and goes upto $3.99/mo. It is one of the most affordable hosting providers on the internet.
Hostinger’s basic plan provides you with all the features you’ll need to start a new blog/website with low visitors, it includes 30GB SSD, 100GB Bandwidth, Free SSL, and 24/7 support.
Free domain is included with only Premium and Business plan.
Hostinger is a bit cheaper than ChemiCloud, but it lags behind in Speed and Customer Support.
You can check the below image for detailed price comparison.
SiteGround is a bit expensive compared to ChemiCloud and Hostinger, its basic plan starts from $4.9/mo and goes all the way up to $14.99/mo.
And these prices are applicable for the first subscription only, from the next subscription you’ll have to pay their regular price that starts from $15/mo.
The reason for its high pricing is probably because SiteGround uses Google Cloud in its backend, provides business level support, and gives you access to expensive tools to help you manage your website easily.
Which Hosting is best for you?
From the above comparison we can see that ChemiCloud offers more value per buck, it offers cutting edge technology, robust security, and fast speeds at very affordable price.
If you have a new website/blog with low traffic, then ChemiCloud’s basic plan will be fine for you, otherwise you can easily choose from its Pro or Turbo plan.
The reason I recommend ChemiCloud is because it’s affordable and offers all the great features that you’ll find in any other expensive hosting provider.
